Don Lemon Just Responded To Trump’s Disgusting Attack On Him, And It Is PERFECT…
On Friday, the President of the United States took to Twitter to attack an NBA star and a CNN news host, the men who were subject of the attack have at least 2 things in common. Both men are successful in their fields and both men are black.
Trump attacked NBA Star LeBron James and CNN host Don Lemon on Friday. James was interviewed by Lemon earlier this week. The interview was focused on the new school James opened for at-risk children in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. LeBron’s new school is public. Children who attend the school are given bikes so that they are assured a way to get to school. They are also offered college tuition. The children are fed at school and their families are given access to a food pantry, counseling, and job training programs.
Yesterday, Trump took aim at the men tweeting, ” “Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!””

Lemon responded to the tweet on Saturday morning. Lemon tweeted writing, “Who’s the real dummy? A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?

During the interview with Lemon, James said that Trump uses sports “to divide us,” something he does not understand as sports have been a unifying force in his own life. James has made no secret of his disapproval of President Trump. He has called the president a “bum” and said that he does not “give a f**k” about the American people. For his part, the president has made a regular habit of attack black athletes for their positive work of the court.
Lemon asked James if he might consider running against Trump for president during the interview. Lemon asked, “If someone tried to recruit a James to run for president, they said, ‘Listen, they’ve got no one, if you don’t run, Trump’s going to win,’ would you run?”
LeBron responded, “Well, in that case, I may.” He added, “If they have no one? I believe there’s some people out there. I hope. Let’s see, first.”
