Marco Rubio Unintentionally Compares Kim Jong Un To Donald Trump: “A Total Weirdo” Who “Inherited the Family Business”

Marco Rubio is a known hypocrite. He ran against Donald Trump for the Republican nomination for the presidency in 2016. Rubio ran that campaign by attacking Trump at every turn and promised that he would not run again for his seat on Capitol Hill if he did not win his party’s nomination. He did, of course, run and continues to represent Floridians in Washington D.C.

He points to his Roman Catholic faith on a regular basis even as he attends an evangelical megachurch that is theologically opposed to his Roman Catholic roots. While his own religious beliefs are irrelevant, they are yet another example of his inherent hypocrisy.

That character trait makes his attack today on the media’s “hypocrisy” entertaining. Rubio took to Twitter today to rail against what he claims is the media’s hypocritical treatment of President Trump’s recent meeting with North Korea’s ruthless dictator Kim Jong Un. He started, as so many Trump apologists do, by attacking former President Barack Obama.

He tweeted, “I too have concerns about how all this with #NorthKorea will turn out. But I don’t recall all the “experts” criticizing Obama when he met with a brutal dictator in #Cuba who also oversaw a police state & also killed & jailed his opponents. #DoubleStandard”

While Obama did meet with Raul Castro, he did not praise him. He did not say that it was an “honor” to meet with him. Obama pressed Castro on Cuba’s human rights violations. Trump did the opposite of all of those things with Kim.

He continued railing against the media via Obama tweeting, “Presidents meeting with #KJU exposed incredible hypocrisy of many in media. When Obama did these things,he was described as enlightened. When Trump does it he is reckless & foolish. 1 yr ago they attacked Trump for leading us towards war,now attack for being too quick for peace”

Rubio finished up his rant with a most amusing and telling tweet.

He tweeted, “One more thing about KJU. While I know @potus is trying to butter him up to get a good deal, #KJU is NOT a talented guy. He inherited the family business from his dad & grandfather. He is a total weirdo who would not be elected assistant dog catcher in any democracy.”

Rubio’s tweet highlights the glaring and startling similarities between the North Korean dictator and the President of the United States.
